TWU Mariachi Support Fund

TWU’s mariachi ensembles, Mariachi Itzá and Mariachi Alas, hope to participate in the 2025 Mariachi Nationals from July 30th through August 4th at Santa Ana College in Santa Ana, California. This competition and series of music clinics promise to enhance the skills and knowledge of the participating students and serves as a platform for cultural exchange, musical growth, and greater visibility. We are seeking funding support in the amount of $32,000 to facilitate travel, accommodations, meals, and associated expenses for 40 students to participate in this enriching experience.

Texas Woman's University's Mariachi program is a reflection of our dedication to musical excellence and community engagement, offering an opportunity to boldly go beyond traditional boundaries.
